Voronovo gas pipeline construction completed ahead of planned 2027 connection
Construction of a high-pressure gas pipeline in Moscow’s Voronovo district has been completed. Connection to the existing gas network is planned for 2027, city services said.
Construction and installation began in March 2025 under the gas supply development programme for Moscow’s Troitsky and Novomoskovsky administrative districts.
The pipeline was built using domestically produced steel pipes and electrically operated shut-off equipment. Trees and shrubs were planted around the site after construction.
City services intend the new line to become part of a network that will increase gas deliveries to local communities and support further infrastructure development.
