Wrocław signs agreement for US Air Force cargo infrastructure

An agreement to build cargo-handling infrastructure for the US Air Force at Poland's Wrocław airport was signed on October 14. The facilities are scheduled to be ready for military aircraft in 2029.
Poland's Armed Forces Support Inspectorate announced the signing. The new APOD Wrocław-Strachowice complex is intended to expand air transport capacity for American forces.
The project includes two military transport aircraft aprons, taxiways and technical equipment. Plans also provide for a military fire service building and an airport duty technician's building.
Construction is being implemented under the Polish–US Enhanced Defense Cooperation Agreement, known as EDCA. Polish military authorities plan to complete both the works and infrastructure certification by 2029.
