Yandex Go restores taxi booking after October 9 outage

Taxi booking through Yandex Go is available again after an October 9 outage, the company's press service told RIA Novosti.

Earlier, a RIA Novosti correspondent could not book a car in Moscow. The app advised trying again in about five minutes. Detector404 recorded roughly 1,600 complaints in an hour, a count of monitoring reports rather than all affected users.

RBC correspondents also confirmed taxi booking problems. The company subsequently announced that its specialists had restored the service.

Yandex separately reported disruptions to Alisa and damage to data center infrastructure in Sasovo and Kaluga that day. Its taxi restoration statement did not establish a direct link between the specific Yandex Go outage and that damage.
