Zabaykalsky institutions join Moscow’s Supplier Portal as buyers
Zabaykalsky Krai has become the 49th region whose state and municipal institutions can place orders on Moscow’s Supplier Portal, Deputy Mayor Maria Bagreeva said.
The region’s buyers can now access offers from more than 420 thousand suppliers nationwide. The platform handles small-value procurement of goods, works and services.
Businesses from Zabaykalsky Krai have used the portal for 11 years. Moscow competition policy department head Kirill Purtov said more than 280 companies and entrepreneurs from the region were registered.
Their customers include Moscow, Novgorod region, Perm and Krasnodar territories, the Yamalo-Nenets autonomous district and other regions. Common purchases include household, construction, information technology and medical goods, as well as sanitation services.
Six regions have joined as buyers this year. Before Zabaykalsky Krai, they were Kursk, the Jewish autonomous region, Lipetsk, the Donetsk People’s Republic and Kamchatka.
The portal was established 13 years ago. More than 65 thousand state and municipal institutions place orders through it, Bagreeva previously said.
Local suppliers can now bid for purchases by institutions in their own region, while companies elsewhere can offer goods and services to Zabaykalsky buyers.
