Zelensky again says partners gave no warning before missile strike

Volodymyr Zelensky said on October 19 that Ukraine had again received no advance warning from its partners about a missile strike. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio denies suspending intelligence sharing.

Zelensky posted about the missing warning following a new attack. He had reported a similar case on October 13. The following day, Ukrainian air force spokesman Yuriy Ihnat said information had been missing for the initial missile wave before data started arriving again.

Rubio told reporters that the US had not stopped providing intelligence to Ukraine. He acknowledged a software problem affecting the early warning system several nights earlier.

Rubio declined to comment on events during the most recent night. He said US European Command is investigating the earlier technical problem.
