Admiral recover late to beat Lada in overtime

Admiral beat Lada 4-3 in Vladivostok on October 10 in the KHL regular season. Dmitri Zavgorodni scored the winner one minute and 15 seconds into overtime.
The home side took a two-goal lead in the opening period through Ivan Muranov and Danila Moiseyev. Lada then scored three unanswered goals to turn the game around.
Doyle Somerby reduced the deficit in the second period. Andrei Chivilyov and Nikolai Makarov both converted power-play opportunities in the third to give the visitors a 3-2 lead.
Kyle Olson brought Admiral level at 56:21, also scoring on the power play. His equaliser sent the match into overtime, where Zavgorodni settled the contest.
Official KHL statistics showed Lada leading 43-15 in shots on goal. The defeat was the Togliatti club’s ninth in succession. Admiral finished the game with 13 points from 14 matches, while Lada had six points.
