AlMasria crews join Russian-language classes in Cairo

AlMasria Universal Airlines has arranged Russian-language classes for crew members at Russian House in Cairo. Chief executive Shirin Fareed said several study groups have already been formed.
In an October 10 interview with RIA Novosti, the airline executive described its cooperation with the teaching centre. Employees can enrol to begin learning Russian or improve their existing knowledge of the language.
According to Shirin Fareed, some crew members already speak Russian to a good standard. The organised courses are available to employees with different levels of prior knowledge.
The private Egyptian airline specialises in services from Egypt's resort cities to Russia. It currently operates flights to 14 Russian cities.
AlMasria Universal Airlines also intends to expand its route network, the executive said. Obshchestvennaya Sluzhba Novostey reported the crew-training arrangement and current route coverage, citing the interview.
