Amorim becomes third Milan coach to begin with seven unbeaten league games
Ruben Amorim has avoided defeat in his first seven Serie A matches as Milan coach. According to Opta, he is the third coach in the club's history to make that start.
The Portuguese coach has recorded four wins and three draws. He has matched Luis Carniglia, who began his league tenure with the same sequence of results in 1963.
Hector Puricelli also went unbeaten over his opening seven games in 1955, recording three wins and four draws.
Amorim took over at Milan in June 2026, replacing Massimiliano Allegri. He previously coached Manchester United, leaving the club in January.
