
Andrei Gradovich, who played with the Leningrad and St. Petersburg bands Kolibri, Dva Samolyota and Yungendshtil, has died. A farewell ceremony is scheduled for Oct. 9 in St. Petersburg.
His sister, Anna Gradovich, announced his death on VKontakte and said the ceremony would begin at 1:15 p.m. in the large hall of the St. Petersburg Crematorium.
Kolibri also published a tribute to its former collaborator. The band said they spent several years rehearsing and performing together, sharing backstage rooms and train compartments, talking and laughing. It described Gradovich as a longtime collaborator and warmly remembered their work together.
RIA Novosti reported that Gradovich played guitar in Kolibri, Yungendshtil and Dva Samolyota. The available notices did not give his age or cause of death.
