ATOR estimates Sochi ski holiday costs at 85,000-95,000 rubles

A five- to six-day ski holiday in Sochi in the coming winter season will cost about 85,000-95,000 rubles per person, ATOR vice-president Sergey Romashkin told TASS. The estimate includes flights, accommodation and a ski pass.
Romashkin said New Year dates and early January would be 20-25% more expensive. TASS published the figures on Oct. 13, and local outlet 93.ru also reported them.
The stated amount is a per-person estimate rather than the cost of a family trip. It combines transport, lodging and lift access, rather than describing an accommodation-only tariff.
Romashkin compared the estimate with overseas ski trips, saying foreign flights alone could cost 40,000-50,000 rubles. That is his comparison of travel costs, rather than a universal price for every destination.
The figures are an industry estimate for the forthcoming season. They do not constitute a fixed booking offer or guarantee that an individual trip will fall within the range.
