Backup generators kept Transbaikal hospitals operating during power outage

Medical facilities in Russia’s Transbaikal region operated normally during the October 20 power outage. Additional generators maintained all life-support systems, the regional health ministry said.

Regional authorities had reported that the outage affected parts of the region after emergency control equipment failed at a main substation.
