Bennie goal gives Dundee United win on Reedijk's Hibernian debut

Dundee United beat Hibernian 1–0 on October 10, handing new Hibs manager Marink Reedijk a defeat in his first match.
Daniel Bennie scored in the 35th minute at Tannadice, converting Lyall Cameron's cross from close range. The winger, on loan from Queens Park Rangers, secured United's first home league win of the season.
Hibernian finished with 10 players after substitute Jacob Devaney fouled Neil Farrugia late in the game. Referee Don Robertson initially awarded a penalty and showed a yellow card, but a video review placed the foul outside the area. He changed the award to a free kick and sent Devaney off.
Jack Walton saved Martin Boyle's stoppage-time effort to preserve the lead. United moved to fifth in the Scottish Premiership, while Hibernian remained 10th.
