Bruins beat Flyers 5-1 as Khusnutdinov scores
Boston won at home on October 10, handing Philadelphia its sixth consecutive defeat to start the NHL season.
Pavel Zacha opened the scoring in the 13th minute, and Mason Lohrei doubled Boston's lead in the 38th. Marat Khusnutdinov added the hosts' third goal early in the final period.
Porter Martone pulled one back for Philadelphia in the 47th minute, before Casey Mittelstadt and Fraser Minten completed the scoring. Boston won the three periods 1-0, 1-0 and 3-1.
The Bruins have four wins and eight points from six games. The Flyers remain without a victory, with two points, seven goals scored and 24 conceded over the same number of games.
Philadelphia next hosts Carolina overnight into October 12, Moscow time. Boston's next game is away to San Jose on the morning of October 14, Moscow time.
