Buruk highlights Batrakov's left-flank performance in Galatasaray win

Galatasaray coach Okan Buruk praised Aleksey Batrakov's work on the left flank after the team's 1-0 victory over Genclerbirligi.

In post-match comments reported by RIA Novosti, Buruk singled out the closing stages of the October 17 game. After Galatasaray switched to a 4-4-2 formation, he said the Russian midfielder controlled the ball well, combined with teammates and contributed defensively.

The coach also praised Batrakov's football intelligence and commitment. Buruk said he had full confidence in the player and expected him to improve further.

Batrakov, 21, joined Galatasaray from Lokomotiv Moscow on August 20, signing a five-year contract.
