Chelyabinsk expects more than 100 teams for fitness aerobics events

More than 100 teams from 25 regions are expected at fitness aerobics competitions in Chelyabinsk from October 30 to November 3. The Russian Fitness Aerobics Federation said the programme would include the third stage of the Russian Cup and several national events.

Student and youth competitions, along with events for beginners and amateur participants, will run alongside the cup stage. Athletes will compete in aerobics, five-person aerobics, step aerobics, hip-hop and large-group hip-hop.

Chelyabinsk will host national fitness aerobics competitions for the tenth time, with student events making their first appearance in the city. The federation’s published programme names the Metar-Sport complex as the venue.

The Chelyabinsk stage precedes the Russian Cup final, which is scheduled for early December in Moscow.
