Courier job offers reach a median of 190,000 rubles

The median monthly salary offered in courier vacancies stood at 190,000 rubles in September, up 38.7% year on year. An industry expert linked the highest earnings to heavy workloads and long schedules.

Data from hh.ru, cited by Kommersant and Retail.ru, refer to pay offered by employers in vacancies in September 2026. They do not represent the average actual income of all couriers, which can depend on schedule, region, order volume and platform terms.

Ilya Varakin, founder of the Trudovye Rezervy agency, told Radio KP that the highest earnings generally require a packed schedule. In some cases, he said, work may take up to 18 hours a day, involving a substantial physical burden.

Strong demand for couriers and competition among employers for workers help explain the increase in offered rates. The 190,000-ruble figure is a median vacancy offer, however, not a guaranteed salary for every worker.
