Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship is scheduled to make its maiden voyage from Port Everglades on December 18, 2027. Its lineup includes the cruise line’s first stage musical based on Encanto.
The Disney Believe will sail four- and five-night itineraries to the Bahamas and Western Caribbean from Fort Lauderdale. The routes will include Disney’s private islands, Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, according to the company’s official ship preview.
The ship’s Grand Hall will take inspiration from Moana, and staterooms will feature new papercut-style artwork based on Moana, Pixar’s Coco and The Lion King. The main stage production will be the first Disney Cruise Line musical based on Encanto. It will follow Mirabel as she tries to save her family and their magical home. Tangled: The Musical and Disney Seas the Adventure are also listed among the shows.
Gazelle, a family entertainment hub inspired by Zootopia, will host activities for all ages by day and adults-only entertainment at night. Other new venues include the Frozen-themed family restaurant Oaken’s Table, the Little Mermaid-inspired piano lounge Sea Notes, Big Hero Sips and Café Kakamora, the observatory-style pub Skygazers and the Inside Out: Joyful Sweets confectionery.
Children’s spaces will include the Oceaneer Club, It’s a Small World Nursery, Edge, Vibe and The Hideaway. Returning venues include the Haunted Mansion Parlor, Palo Steakhouse, Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement and The Rose lounge. Disney Believe will be the fourth Wish-class ship, after Disney Wish, Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny.
