Police in the Polish city of Elblag have identified a woman who left a suitcase containing a dog’s body near a refuse shelter. Investigators are examining the circumstances and awaiting the full autopsy report.
Surveillance footage recorded a woman pulling a large suitcase at about 12:40 a.m. on September 15 on Browarna Street. She left it by a refuse shelter. A passerby later found the body of an American Bully inside.
Police had released the footage and appealed for help identifying the woman. Elblag police told Fakt that, after receiving a large response, officers checked several tips and identified the person shown in the video. Her name has not been released.
