EuroLeague unveils plan for €3.4 billion in club distributions over ten years

EuroLeague unveiled a ten-year business plan on October 16 projecting €3.4 billion in distributions to participating teams. The announcement followed the shareholder clubs’ October 6 meeting in Como.
Projected distributions comprise €2.2 billion from competition revenues and €1.2 billion from franchise fees. The amounts cover the full ten-year period.
The plan accompanies a shift to a franchise-based model. EuroLeague estimates that the transition could raise the value of its clubs and the competition by 25% from the 2026/27 season.
The combined value of the clubs and the league is projected to exceed €13 billion after ten years, comprising €5.4 billion for the clubs and €7.98 billion for the competition.
The target for annual commercial revenue at the end of the ten-year period is €648 million.
