Bengaluru FC come from behind to beat SC Delhi 3-2 in ISL opener

Bengaluru FC overturned a first-half deficit to defeat Sporting Club Delhi 3-2 at Sree Kanteerava Stadium on October 10 in the opening match of the 2026-27 Indian Super League season.
Borja Martinez opened the scoring on his ISL debut in the 22nd minute. Rodriguinho equalised for the visitors before Menno Koch diverted a cross from Juan Pena into his own net in the 32nd minute, leaving Delhi ahead at the interval.
Martinez scored again in the 75th minute after receiving a pass from Mihailo Perovic. Koch then headed in the late winner, completing the comeback after his earlier own goal.
The Hindu reported that Bengaluru produced 22 attempts on goal before a crowd of about 10,600. Delhi goalkeeper Nora Fernandes kept the visitors in contention with several saves, including a close-range stop against Ryan Williams in the 85th minute.
