The collision occurred near the 142-kilometre point of the Artyom–Nakhodka road. Police said preliminary information indicated that a 42-year-old Mitsubishi Canter driver turned left from an adjoining area without giving way at an intersection.
The truck then collided with a UAZ ambulance driven by a 36-year-old. The injured were the truck driver, his 48-year-old passenger and two people travelling as passengers in the ambulance.
Police said all four were taken for medical care. The account of the truck's manoeuvre is preliminary, and officers are continuing their inquiry into the circumstances and assessing the harm sustained by those injured.
