FSB reports foiling drone attack preparations at Voronezh airfield

Russia's FSB said it detained a Russian woman suspected of preparing an attack on Baltimor military airfield and released footage from a garage.
The agency alleged that she rented the Voronezh premises to assemble and launch drones. It described airfield infrastructure, aircraft and personnel as intended targets. The report concerns alleged preparations stopped before an attack.
The FSB said nine drone kits with explosive devices and control equipment had been moved from caches into the garage. It estimated the explosive material in each kit at about 500 grams.
The agency also alleged that Ukraine's Security Service recruited the woman in 2022 while she was in Ukraine. In footage released by the FSB, the detainee describes an offer of payment.
The recruitment account, intended targets and cache contents are presented as the Russian agency's allegations. The available reports do not provide independent verification of those circumstances or a judicial finding of guilt.
