GigaCenter reports data center damage and possible disruptions

Ukraine's GigaCenter said its data center had been damaged and warned customers of possible disruptions to equipment hosted at the facility.

The company said in a Facebook post that its specialists were working to contain the consequences of the damage. GigaCenter provides server and other IT equipment colocation services for businesses.

The facility is separate from the Datagroup data center whose destruction was reported by its operator on October 19. Datagroup said the affected infrastructure could not be restored.
