GTA V to leave PlayStation Plus catalog on November 17

Grand Theft Auto V will leave the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium game catalog on November 17, 2026. Sony listed the date in a notification sent to PlayStation 5 users.
The message invites subscribers to return to Los Santos before the next game in the series arrives. The removal affects access through the subscription catalog. People who own a purchased copy of GTA V will be able to continue playing.
Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled to launch two days after GTA V leaves the catalog. Rockstar Games has officially set November 19, 2026 as its release date for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
Removing the earlier game does not itself mean that GTA VI will join PlayStation Plus. Sony's notification concerns the remaining availability of GTA V for Extra and Premium subscribers.
