MOEX Index ends October 13 main session at 2,418.82

Russian equities rose in the main trading session on October 13. The MOEX Index closed at 2,418.82 points, while the RTS Index ended at 908.55.

Interfax said the MOEX Index recorded its highest closing level since June 19. Its intraday high was 2,431.1. RBC reported the day's gain as 1.04%, while Interfax rounded the change to 1%. The RTS Index gained about 1.1%.

Among index constituents, Severstal rose 5.8%, Rostelecom 5.2% and AFK Sistema 5.1%. MMK gained 4.2%, while Ozon added 4%.

Tatneft shares fell 2.2% to 661.3 roubles after the dividend record-date cutoff for the first half of the year. The dividend is 32.88 roubles per share of each class. These figures describe the completed main session rather than current market prices.
