Igdisamov urges Danilov to gain experience at CSKA before moving abroad

CSKA coach Dmitry Igdisamov praised Kirill Danilov’s physical ability but said the young defender should establish himself at the club and gain experience before considering a move abroad.
In an interview with Sport Express, Igdisamov described the 198-centimetre defender as the most physically gifted footballer he had coached. He highlighted Danilov’s speed and strength alongside his technical skills and understanding of the game.
The coach also praised the 19-year-old’s calmness and commitment to improvement. He credited CSKA’s academy and youth team for the player’s progress, singling out Maxim Bokov’s work with defenders.
Igdisamov acknowledged that Danilov still makes mistakes, but said the club views its academy graduate as a starting player and will give him playing time. He urged the defender to keep outside interest from distracting him. Sport Express said Danilov has made nine appearances and scored once this season, with a contract running until December 2029.
