Ingushetia allocates over 588 million roubles for medical equipment

Ingushetia has allocated more than 588 million roubles for medical equipment in 2026, regional head Makhmud-Ali Kalimatov said on October 14. The funding covers hospitals, outpatient clinics and the clinical perinatal centre.

The money is provided through the national projects Long and Active Life and Family. Eight medical organisations in Nazran, Sunzha and the Nazranovsky, Malgobeksky and Sunzhensky districts are due to receive new equipment.

Purchases for hospitals and clinics include tomography scanners, ultrasound machines and equipment for intensive care, anaesthesiology and endoscopic examinations. Kalimatov described the procurement as part of the republic’s healthcare upgrade.

The clinical perinatal centre is being equipped separately. Kalimatov said ventilators and neonatal resuscitation tables had already been purchased for it. That is a procurement announcement rather than confirmation that all the equipment is operational.

Kalimatov said more than three billion roubles had been allocated and spent in Ingushetia under the Healthcare national project since 2019. The money supported upgrades to facilities, construction and equipment of rural medical posts, and purchases of new technology. Long and Active Life succeeded that project in 2025.
