Jaguars face Eagles in London as Philadelphia rebuilds its offensive line

The Jacksonville Jaguars meet the Philadelphia Eagles at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London on October 11. Kickoff is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Eastern Time, or 4:30 p.m. Moscow time. Jacksonville enters at 3–1 and Philadelphia at 2–2.

The game closes a week of major personnel changes for the Eagles. Lane Johnson retired and Cam Jurgens was traded to the Baltimore Ravens. Philadelphia has lost two consecutive games, most recently to the Los Angeles Rams.

The club’s projected offensive line lists Jordan Mailata, Willie Lampkin, Jake Majors, Tyler Steen and Markel Bell. Majors took first-team practice repetitions while Drew Kendall rehabilitated a knee injury. The final lineup remains subject to change.

Philadelphia also confirmed that Saquon Barkley and Tank Bigsby will miss the game. Will Shipley is likely to handle the largest share of the rushing workload. The club’s preview also notes DeVonta Smith’s absence, further limiting quarterback Jalen Hurts’ available options.

Jacksonville followed its loss in Denver with wins over the New England Patriots and Cincinnati Bengals. According to statistics cited by CBS Sports, its offense ranks third in both third-down and red-zone efficiency. Its defense ranks fifth and second in those categories respectively and has allowed the league’s second-fewest points.

CBS Sports lists linebacker Foyesade Oluokun with 24 tackles, two interceptions and a forced fumble. Trevor Lawrence’s ability to withstand pressure from a defense directed by Vic Fangio is a key test for the Jaguars.

CBS Sports favors Jacksonville in its pregame prediction, linking Philadelphia’s prospects to opposing mistakes and turnovers. That assessment is a forecast, with the game still to be played. NFL Network is scheduled to televise the matchup in the United States.
