Kirill Prigoda takes 200m breaststroke bronze in Tashkent

Russia’s Kirill Prigoda finished third in the men’s 200m breaststroke at the second Swimming World Cup stop on October 10.
The meet in Uzbekistan’s capital ran from October 8 to 10. Competition took place in a short-course pool, with Prigoda’s bronze coming on the final day of the Tashkent programme.
World Aquatics confirms the placing in its official medal record for the Russian swimmer. The entry lists a bronze medal in the men’s 200m breaststroke in Tashkent on October 10.
Russian competitors took part with their national flag and anthem, according to Sport-Express. Prigoda therefore ended his campaign in this event with a place on the podium at the second stop of the international series.
