Krasnoyarsk signs contract for bridge to Tatyshev Park

Krasnoyarsk has signed a contract worth about 1.1 billion roubles for a pedestrian and cycle bridge to Tatyshev Park, Mayor Sergey Vereshchagin said on 9 October.
The bridge will connect Tatyshev Island to the left bank of the Yenisei in the Zelyonaya Roshcha neighbourhood. Including elevated approaches, it will be 633 metres long. The project forms part of preparations for Krasnoyarsk's 400th anniversary.
The mayor said the contractor should begin preparing the construction site in autumn. Installing bridge supports is the main initial task. Demolition of the old damaged crossing is also planned to start in 2026.
NGS24 reported that Geostroy was selected as the contractor and that the contract was signed on 9 October. The city plans completion by the end of 2027. Vereshchagin said the bridge should extend walking and cycling routes and contribute to the city's architecture and lighting.
