Kvaratskhelia to undergo surgery after injury against Barcelona

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia will undergo surgery in the coming days after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee, Paris Saint-Germain said following its Champions League match against Barcelona.

The Georgian player started the game and was substituted in the 59th minute. PSG won the home match 4-2.

The club also reported thigh injuries to Ousmane Dembele and Marquinhos. Dembele injured his left thigh and Marquinhos his right. Both will continue treatment over the coming weeks.

Kvaratskhelia joined the Paris club from Napoli in January 2025. He has played 11 games across all competitions this season, scoring two goals.
