Local network fault disrupts electricity supply in Odesa

Electricity and water outages were reported in Odesa on October 9. DTEK attributed power disruptions in three districts to a local network fault.
RIA Novosti cited Ukrainian outlet Strana.ua as reporting on Telegram that much of Odesa had lost electricity and water. The report did not give a figure for the number of residents affected.
DTEK identified a local network fault as the cause of electricity outages in parts of the Peresypskyi, Khadzhibeyskyi and Prymorskyi districts. The operator's statement specified the areas experiencing power problems, while the outlet also reported a loss of water supply.
The RIA Novosti report gave no repair completion time or timetable for restoring services. It did not separately explain the water outages. The available information does not establish a single cause for every disruption across the city.
