LUKOIL shares fall after board recommends interim dividend

LUKOIL shares declined in early trading on October 9 after its board recommended a dividend of 535 rubles per share for the first nine months of 2026.

RBC reported a fall of 1.95% to 5,523.5 rubles at 10:31 a.m. Moscow time. By 10:41 a.m., the shares traded at 5,563.5 rubles, down 1.24% from Thursday's close. These were morning quotations rather than the session's closing figures.

The company confirmed the board's recommendation, which requires shareholder approval. The proposed dividend record date is December 9. RBC identified December 8 as the last day to buy shares eligible for the payment.

At a price of about 5,563.5 rubles, the recommended dividend represented approximately 9.6% of the share price. That ratio changes with the quotation. LUKOIL usually pays dividends twice a year.
