Lut outlines 1.3 trillion rubles for four agricultural programmes in draft budget
Russia's draft federal budget provides about 1.3 trillion rubles over the next three years for four agricultural programmes, Agriculture Minister Oksana Lut told the State Duma's budget committee.
Planned funding is 430 billion rubles in 2027, 440 billion rubles in 2028 and more than 422 billion rubles in 2029. Lut said the main support measures would remain in place.
These include subsidised lending, export support, funding for potato and vegetable production, viticulture and winemaking, subsidies for Rosagroleasing and state procurement interventions. Lut also said allocations for the national project on technological support for food security had increased by 20% compared with the previous year's level.
