Lithuania and Poland form group to investigate drone incident
Lithuania and Poland's defence ministries have formed a joint group to investigate a drone incident, Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda said.
The object entered Lithuanian airspace on 18 October and disappeared from radar in the north of the country before debris was found. Lithuanian Defence Minister Robertas Kaunas said preliminary information indicated that the drone had arrived from Poland.
Kaunas requested his Polish counterpart's assistance with a joint investigation. Nausėda said the circumstances could be discussed once the group's official findings were presented.
