MBA beats Parma 93–91 after overcoming a large deficit

Moscow’s MBA defeated Perm’s BETCITY Parma 93–91 in the VTB United League regular season on October 13 at Basket Hall Moscow.

The hosts trailed 14–31 after the first quarter. They cut the deficit by winning the second 31–17 and moved ahead after taking the third 31–21. Parma won the final quarter 22–17, but fell short overall.

According to MBA’s official match report, the team’s first-half deficit reached 21 points. Matvey Padius and Alexander Khomenko led the hosts with 16 points each.

BJ Johnson and Brian Fobbs each scored 17 for Parma. Jeremiah Martin added 16 points and eight assists.

MBA’s next game is away to Avtodor on October 18. Parma is scheduled to host Dynamo Vladivostok on October 17.
