Houthi health authorities report two deaths after strikes on Ras Isa

Houthi-run health authorities said two people were killed and two injured in airstrikes in Yemen’s Hodeidah province on October 13. Their initial casualty report concerned an oil facility in the Ras Isa area.
The Houthi-controlled Saba news agency published the preliminary toll, citing health ministry spokesman Anis al-Asbahi. The figures come from authorities on one side of the conflict and have not been independently verified.
Interfax, citing Al Jazeera, also reported strikes on Ras Isa port and an oil installation in the Bajil area. Explosions were heard in the capital, Sanaa. Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree said the movement’s forces were responding to Saudi attacks on the city.
The Saudi-led coalition had warned earlier that it would strike Sanaa. The Houthis threatened retaliation against Riyadh’s airport and Saudi Aramco facilities. The coalition supports Yemen’s internationally recognized government in its conflict with the movement.
