Milan concede quick equaliser in 1-1 draw at Sassuolo

Milan drew 1-1 away to Sassuolo on October 11 in the sixth round of Serie A, leaving the visitors on 12 points.

Adrien Rabiot put Milan ahead in the 63rd minute at the Mapei Stadium in Reggio Emilia. Luca Odenthal equalised five minutes later, so the visitors’ advantage lasted only briefly.

Milan also lost defender Matteo Gabbia to a muscle problem early in the match. He left on a stretcher and was replaced by Koni De Winter in the 20th minute, according to the club’s match report.

Milan remain unbeaten after six league games. Sport-Express placed them fifth after the draw, with Sassuolo tenth on eight points. Milan are scheduled to host Atalanta on October 18, while Sassuolo visit Frosinone on October 16.
