Nearly 500 window units replaced in drone-damaged homes

Nearly 500 insulated window units have been replaced in homes on Letchika Laryushina Street in Lyubertsy following a drone attack, the district administration reported on October 9.

District head Vladimir Volkov visited affected families. The municipality said residents of apartments 135 and 148 confirmed that their new windows worked properly. Repairs are beginning in almost all damaged apartments.

Specialists are completing inspections of the facades. Their findings are expected next week, after which the developer is due to begin restoration work.

Volkov said utilities in the building remained intact. Heating was switched on ahead of schedule, and temporary accommodation was provided to residents who needed it. He also thanked residents' representative Lilia Cheremisina for maintaining communication.
