Police investigate damaged graves in Chelyabinsk region

Police in Russia's Chelyabinsk region opened an inquiry into reports of damaged graves in Etkul district, the regional Interior Ministry said on October 17.

An investigative team went to the cemetery. Officers are establishing the circumstances and causes of the damage.

Local media reported that about 30 graves were affected. Dostup news agency, citing social media reports, placed the damaged headstones at a cemetery in Koelga village.
