Prince Harry says he wants to reconcile with King Charles and Prince William

Prince Harry wants to repair his relationship with King Charles III and Prince William, the Duke of Sussex said in an interview with GQ.

Asked about disagreements with his father and older brother, Harry acknowledged that they caused him distress. He said conflicts between parents and children were familiar to many families.

Harry also said some people did not want reconciliation. His representative later told the BBC that the remark was not directed at William or other members of the royal family and had been made in a broader discussion.

The prince recalled his last telephone conversation with his mother, Princess Diana, who died in 1997. He said he regretted how the conversation had gone because he had not known it would be their last.

In late September, The Telegraph reported that Harry was discussing a documentary about Diana to mark the 30th anniversary of her death on 31 August 2027.
