Pyshny confirms searches and says he remains Ukraine’s central bank governor

Andriy Pyshny confirmed that searches had taken place at his home and said he was continuing to serve as governor of the National Bank of Ukraine.
In a Facebook statement, Pyshny said the searches concerned other people and were unrelated to his work at the central bank.
Delo.ua had earlier cited a banking-sector source as saying he had submitted his resignation after the searches. The National Bank denied that report before Pyshny publicly confirmed that he remained in office.
