Romanian parliament approves Luca Niculescu’s government
Romania’s parliament has approved a government led by Luca Niculescu. The vote followed unsuccessful attempts to form a Cabinet under other prime ministerial nominees.
Niculescu was the fourth candidate nominated by President Nicusor Dan after the previous government fell, Radio Romania International reported.
The new minority Cabinet secured parliamentary support despite lacking a majority of its own, Reuters and Associated Press reported.
