Russia lifts flight restrictions at four Moscow airports

Russia’s Federal Air Transport Agency said on the morning of October 10 that temporary restrictions on arrivals and departures had been lifted at Vnukovo, Domodedovo, Sheremetyevo and Zhukovsky airports.
RIA Novosti reported the agency’s announcement. The aviation authority said the restrictions had been imposed to ensure flight safety. Their removal allows the airports to accept arriving aircraft and authorise departures again.
The statement separately identified Zhukovsky airport in Ramenskoye. Vnukovo, Domodedovo and Sheremetyevo were included in the same announcement, so the decision applies to each of the four airports.
Lifting the restrictions allows arrival and departure operations to resume. The departure time for an individual flight depends on its schedule and the operational information provided by the airline and airport.
