Russia's defence ministry reports strike on Planeta Plastik plant

Russia's defence ministry said it struck the Planeta Plastik plant in Irpin, Kyiv region, overnight.

The ministry claimed the facility produced polymer materials for the military industry.

In late August, the company announced an indefinite production suspension because of deteriorating security, RBC-Ukraine reported, citing its statement. The outlet listed agricultural film, grain storage sleeves and polyethylene pipes among the plant's products.
