Russian gymnasts prepare for World Championships team final

Russia’s men will compete in the Artistic Gymnastics World Championships team final in Rotterdam on October 20. The event starts at 20:30 Moscow time.

They finished third in qualification with 249.162 points, behind Japan on 254.529 points and Great Britain on 251.460 points.

The named team comprises Arsenii Dukhno, Daniel Marinov, Ilia Zaika, Sergei Naidin and Savelii Sieedin.

Qualification scores do not carry into the final. Three gymnasts perform on each of the six apparatus, with every score contributing to the team total.

Under the Olympic qualification rules, the three highest-ranked teams in the final will earn places at the 2028 Games.
