Saudi authorities identify nationalities of Riyadh airport attack victims

Al Jazeera English reports on the October 10 attack on Riyadh airport: 12 killed, including four Saudi citizens, and 309 injured. Context for the update on victims' nationalities.

Four Saudis, two Bangladeshis and one American were among the 12 people killed in the October 10 attack on Riyadh's King Khalid International Airport, Saudi Arabia's civil aviation authority said.

The statement, reported by RIA Novosti, also confirmed 309 injuries. Some of the wounded were in serious condition and had been taken to hospitals.

Reuters, in a report published by Geo News, gave the full nationality breakdown attributed to the same authority. It also listed one person each from Jordan, Palestine, Syria, Sudan and Egypt.

The update identifies the nationalities of those killed rather than increasing the previously announced death toll. The authority's statement did not identify the victims by name or give a nationality breakdown for the injured.
