Serbian minister names Ekaterina and Kitchen among popular Russian shows

Serbian Information and Telecommunications Minister Boris Bratina told RIA Novosti that audiences in his country enjoy Russian films and television series. He cited the historical series Ekaterina and the comedy Kitchen as examples.
Bratina spoke to the agency at the Global Digital Forum in Moscow. He said Serbian audiences have extensive experience of Russian films and series, and gave a positive assessment of interest in these productions.
The minister said Russian science television programmes also attract viewers in Serbia. His comments describe his assessment of audience interest rather than research findings. The interview provided no audience totals, ratings or comparisons with other countries.
The second Global Digital Forum is taking place in Moscow from October 8 to 10. Bratina is listed among the speakers in its official programme. He offered his assessment while attending the event.
