Serokhvostov recalls a suitcase of cash among his wedding gifts

Biathlete Daniil Serokhvostov told Sport-Express that a large suitcase filled with notes he described as tens was among the gifts at his wedding to Viktoria Metelya.

He said Viktoria handled about 80 percent of the preparations. He helped with individual decisions and chose an unconventional suit he had long wanted. Serokhvostov said the inspiration came from his memory of a suit worn by the head of Bashkortostan at a meeting in Ufa.

He described the wedding as quiet and enjoyable. The newlyweds did not count the money in the suitcase because they flew away immediately after the celebration.
