Seth Jones ties Panthers defenceman record with four assists

Seth Jones recorded four assists in Florida's 7-3 win over Columbus, matching the Panthers' single-game record for a defenceman. Sport Express reported the milestone on October 14.
The game was played in Columbus on October 13 local time. Jones became the fourth Florida defenceman with four assists in one game, following Bryan McCabe, Brian Campbell and Aaron Ekblad.
He contributed to goals by Brady Tkachuk, Carter Verhaeghe and Sam Reinhart, who scored twice. Two of Jones's four assists came with Florida on the power play.
The performance also matched the thirty-two-year-old's NHL career high. He previously recorded four assists in a game in 2024 while playing for Chicago.
After seven games of the current regular season, Jones had seven points, comprising one goal and six assists.
